Bane armoured boots + 4 are tier 79 melee boots in RuneScape 3. They are the top upgrade in the bane boots line. You need level 80 Defence to wear them. They fit in the feet slot and count as tank armour.
These boots give 93.8 armour, a 395 life points bonus, and 1.58% PvM damage reduction. That makes them a solid pick for players who want more defence in melee combat. They are members only and can be traded with other players.
The boots degrade over 50,000 charges of combat, then break into a repairable state. A full repair costs 200,000 coins at base, and the price scales with the damage. You can also repair them for less on an armour stand or whetstone, or reforge them on an anvil with 8 bane bars.
Players with level 80 Smithing can make these boots at a forge and anvil. This takes 8 bane bars and a pair of bane armoured boots + 3, and it grants 5,600 Smithing experience. They can also be turned into bane burial armoured boots for extra experience, or disassembled for parts like Strong and Protective components.
