Bane gauntlets + 4 are tier 79 melee hand armour in RuneScape 3. They are bane gauntlets that have been upgraded four times, the highest upgrade in the set. You need level 80 Defence to wear them.
These gauntlets are tank armour with strong stats for their slot. They give 93.8 armour, a life points bonus of 395, and 1.58% PvM damage reduction. They weigh only 0.04 kg, so they are light to carry.
Bane gauntlets + 4 degrade over 50,000 charges of combat, then break into a repairable state. A full repair costs 200,000 coins from a repair NPC, and less on an armour stand or whetstone. You can also repair them at an anvil with 8 bane bars.
Smiths can make this item at a forge and anvil using bane gauntlets + 3 and 8 bane bars. Making them gives 5,600 Smithing experience. They can also be turned into bane burial gauntlets for extra experience.
This item is members only, tradeable, equipable, noteable, and can be disassembled for Invention parts. It is a solid pick for players who want tough melee hand armour without a high cost.
