Bark is a raw material in RuneScape 3 that comes from hollow trees in Morytania. These trees grow in the Haunted Woods, east of Canifis. Cutting a hollow tree needs level 45 Woodcutting, and it can take a long time to get even one piece of bark.

The main use for bark is making splitbark equipment. Players bring bark, fine cloth, and coins to Wizard Jalarast in the Wizards' Tower to make each splitbark item. This makes bark a key item for anyone who wants a full splitbark set.

Bark has other uses too. With level 47 Firemaking and a tinderbox, players can use bark to light torches in the Haunted Woods. Each lit torch gives 100 Firemaking experience and restores 10 prayer points. This is a handy way to train and stay safe in the area.
