Basilisk boots are a pair of tier 40 ranged boots in RuneScape 3. You need level 40 Defence to wear them. They fill the boots slot and count as power armour, which means they boost your ranged damage instead of only protecting you.
These boots come as a rare drop from basilisks, the Slayer monsters found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon and the Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon. Killing basilisks takes level 40 Slayer, so the boots can be hard to get on your own.
Basilisk boots are a solid pick for mid level ranged training. The damage bonus helps your arrows and bolts hit harder, so fights end faster and training goes quicker. They are also one of only three pieces of ranged power armour that free players can use, along with turoth boots and the arrowstorm drape.
