Description
Bathus ore is a mining resource in RuneScape 3. Players mine it from bathus rocks on the surface of the Daemonheim peninsula. Mining these rocks needs level 100 Mining, and a primal pickaxe helps you mine them fast. The rocks are found at the Bathus Mine, which has 5 rocks, and the Fractite and Bathus Mine, which has 2 rocks.
The main use for bathus ore is smithing primal bars. It is combined with nine other ores, such as Novite, Fractite, and Promethium, to make 5 primal bars at a furnace. This needs level 100 Smithing and gives 31 experience. You can also use the Superheat Item spell, which gives 43 Magic experience and 31 Smithing experience, but it costs a Nature rune and 4 Fire runes.
A primal ore box can hold 100 to 150 bathus ore, based on your Mining level and achievements. The metal bank can hold an unlimited amount. When disassembled, the ore gives 1.5 Disassembly XP and Simple parts, with a 45 percent base junk chance. A different version of bathus ore also appears in the Sinkholes Distraction and Diversion as a tier 2 resource.
