There are three mushroom patches in the game. They are in Canifis, Isafdar, and the City of Um. A spore takes 4 hours to grow. When it is done, you can pick 6 bittercap mushrooms. Each mushroom you pick gives 57.7 Farming experience.
Bittercap mushrooms have many uses. Players use them in Cooking to make moonlight mead and mushroom potatoes. You can also plant five mushrooms in enchanted soil to restore a fairy ring. Eight mushrooms can pay a farmer to watch a whiteberry bush. Picking one is also part of the Fun Guy But Bitter task in the medium Morytania achievements.
The spore is stackable, tradeable, and noteable, and it has no weight. It can be disassembled for Organic parts, with a small chance of Living components. This spore is a simple way to train Farming and stock up on useful mushrooms at the same time.
