Description

The Black shield (h2) is a heraldic version of the black kiteshield in RuneScape 3. It has the same stats as a normal black kiteshield and the same requirements to wear. You need level 25 Defence to equip it. It goes in the shield slot and counts as tier 25 melee gear.

This shield gives 76.2 armour and 2.5% PvM damage reduction. It has no prayer bonus. It is a possible reward from an easy reward casket in the Treasure Trails Distraction and Diversion. Players cannot make heraldic armour with the Smithing skill, and no one can add the design themselves.

The shield has an alchemy price ten times higher than the black kiteshield. You can also store it in a treasure chest in your player-owned house costume room. It counts as part of an easy-level set with the black platebody (h2), black helm (h2), and either black platelegs (h2) or black plateskirt (h2).

The item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can be disassembled and always gives one Fortunate component, with a base junk chance of 72.5%. It weighs 5.443 kg and is a members-free item.
