Description
The Black helm (h2) is a black helmet with a special heraldic design painted on it. It is a rare style of the normal black helm in RuneScape 3. It has the same stats as the plain version, so the design is what makes it stand out.
This helm is melee tank armour. It fills the helm slot and sits at tier 25. You need level 25 Defence to wear it. It gives 76 armour and a small damage reduction of 0.5% against monsters and 0.9375% against other players.
Players cannot make this helm with the Smithing skill. It comes from easy reward caskets in Treasure Trails, which makes it a nice collector piece. When you pair it with the black platebody (h2), black platelegs (h2) or plateskirt (h2), and black shield (h2), the full set can be stored in a treasure chest in your player-owned house.
The helm is also useful for Invention. Taking it apart always gives 1 Fortunate component, plus a chance at Cover parts, Plated parts, Deflecting parts, Strong components, or Protective components. It is tradeable and weighs 2.721 kg.
