Black wizard gloves are magic armour for RuneScape 3. They go in the hand slot. Any player can wear them because there are no level requirements. They are also a free-to-play item, so members and non-members can use them.
These gloves are tier 5 tank armour in the magic class. They give a small 0.1% damage reduction against monsters. This makes them a nice pick for new mage builds or low-level accounts that need some extra defence. They also keep the wearer's hands warm.
The gloves are tradeable, and they can be noted. They can also be disassembled for materials like Magic parts, Cover parts, and Deflecting parts. On death, they are always kept outside a dangerous area, so you will not lose them there. They weigh only 0.453 kg, so they are light to carry.
Players can also craft these gloves with level 1 Crafting. It takes a needle, thread, and a strip of black cloth, and it gives 5 Crafting experience. The gloves came out on 9 October 2017 as part of the black wizard armour set, along with black wizard boots.
