The Blamish red shell (pointed) is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a red snail shell from Mort Myre that looks protective. Blood blamish snails with pointed shells drop this item. These snails are combat level 14, and each kill always drops one shell.
This shell is used for Crafting. With level 15 Crafting, players can use a chisel on the shell to make a Blood'n'tar snelm (pointed). This gives 32.5 Crafting experience. It is a simple way to train Crafting at low levels.
The shell is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move and sell. It is not equipable or stackable, and it weighs 10 kg. The item was released on 14 October 2004.
The shell can also be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly gives 0.1 XP and most often yields Simple parts, with a 99 out of 100 chance. There is a 1 in 100 chance of Variable components. The base junk chance is 98.9%, and research can lower this.
This item is a good pick for players who want easy Crafting XP or the pointed snelm helmet.
