Description
The Blood'n'tar snelm (pointed) is a members-only helmet in RuneScape 3. It is a pointed, red-and-black helmet made from a Mort Myre snail shell. Any player can wear it. There are no requirements at all.
This snelm is easy to make with the Crafting skill. A player needs level 15 Crafting, a Blamish red shell, and a chisel. Making it gives 32.5 Crafting experience. It can also be traded between players.
The snelm has a real use in the swamp. It gives extra protection against giant snails in the Temple Trekking and Burgh de Rott Ramble minigames. It also helps against lower class snails in the swamp. This makes it a smart pick for players who spend time in Mort Myre.
The pointed snelm also matters for clue scrolls. In level two clue scrolls, it is called the pointed red and black snelm. Players who hunt clues may need one to finish a step.
The helmet weighs 2 kg. It has no armour, damage, or accuracy bonuses, so it is worn for snail protection, clue steps, or its bold look.
