Blessed sand is the key part of making blessed molten glass. One blessed molten glass takes 100 blessed sand, 3 soda ash, 3 red sandstone, and 3 crystal-flecked sandstone. Melting it at a furnace gives 350 Crafting experience at level 50 Crafting.
Players want blessed sand because it takes a long time to make. Each sand takes 1.2 seconds to bless, and the blessed flask needs 40,000 of them. That is over 13 hours of blessing. The artificer's measure needs 1,000 blessed sand.
