The bolt mould is an item in RuneScape 3 used to make unfinished silver bolts with the Crafting skill. Place a silver bar in a furnace with the mould in your inventory or on your tool belt. You need level 21 Crafting to use it.

Each silver bar gives 50 Crafting experience and makes 10 bolts. This makes the bolt mould a solid pick for players who want to train Crafting or make their own crossbow ammo. It is a free-to-play item, so any player can use it.

The bolt mould can be stored on the tool belt, which saves space in your inventory. It is tradeable and can be noted. When noted, it stacks in your inventory. The mould weighs 0.453 kg.

If you use the Invention skill, the mould can be disassembled. It gives 0.1 Disassembly experience and most often turns into junk. When it does give parts, it usually gives Simple parts and rarely gives Variable components.
