Buy RS3 Broken abyssal bane square shield

Description

The Broken abyssal bane square shield is a members only item in RuneScape 3. It is the broken form of the abyssal bane square shield, a tier 79 melee shield. The shield breaks after 50,000 charges of combat. It must be repaired before it can be worn again.

A full repair costs 600,000 coins. The cost is lower if the shield is only partly damaged. Characters who repair equipment can fix it. An armour stand or whetstone costs less, with a discount of 0.5% per Smithing level. A legendary pet's Item Repair ability also gives this discount.

Once repaired, the shield needs level 80 Defence to wear. It gives 375.2 armour, a 350 life points bonus, and 7.9% PvM damage reduction. It is a Banite item tuned against abyssals. When fighting any abyssal demon, it works like armour spikes. Targets next to the wearer that land a hit take damage back equal to half of the player's current Defence level.

The shield can be augmented after repair. It has a high alchemy value of 128,000 coins and a buy limit of 100.
