Description

The Broken dragon bane off-hand longsword is the degraded form of the dragon bane off-hand longsword in RuneScape 3. This members-only weapon is a tier 79 off-hand melee longsword. The normal version needs level 80 Attack to wield and uses a fast slash style with 483.9 ability damage and 1876 accuracy.

The weapon reaches this broken state after 50,000 charges of combat. A full repair costs up to 400,000 coins, and the price is lower if the item is only partly damaged. Any character that can repair equipment can fix it. Repairs cost less at an armour stand in a player-owned house, at a whetstone, or with a legendary pet's Item Repair ability. The discount is 0.5% for each Smithing level.

The base weapon is made at an anvil with a hammer, using a bane off hand longsword + 4 and a draconic visage. This needs level 80 Smithing and gives 4,000 Smithing experience. Once repaired, the sword can be augmented.

The broken version has a high alchemy value of 128,000 coins and a buy limit of 1,000. It can also be disassembled for parts like blade parts and sharp components.
