The Broken Memento is a focus object for Necromancy in RuneScape 3. It is a broken spiritual offering used to commune with the dead. Players place it on the pedestal to start a lesser communion ritual. Each ritual with this item gives 6 souls and 3 ectoplasm. You need level 5 Necromancy to use it, and it gives 175 experience. Multiply Alteration glyphs can boost the amount you receive.
Broken Mementos come from ritual disturbances and from catching ghost implings. They can also drop from Shambling Horrors, Sparkling Glyphs, and Wandering Souls. Players can make one at level 5 Divination with 10 pale energy and three wyvern bones, which gives 1.4 Divination experience. At level 21 Divination, three Broken Mementos and 10 bright energy can be turned into one Fragile Memento.
This item is members only, tradeable, and stackable, so it takes up little space in your bank. When disassembled, it can give organic parts or rare pious components. Broken Mementos are a simple way for Necromancy players to keep rituals going and stock up on souls and ectoplasm.
