Bronze platelegs are tier 1 melee leg armour in RuneScape 3. They only need level 1 Defence to wear, so any player can put them on right away. This makes them a solid first pick for new accounts and fresh characters.

These platelegs count as tank armour. They give 33.0 armour and a 75 life points bonus. They also add a small damage reduction of 0.1% in PvM and 0.2625% in PvP. The legs slot piece pairs well with other bronze gear for early training and low level combat.

Bronze platelegs are tradeable, lendable, and noteable. They can be combined with a Bronze full helm, Bronze platebody, and Bronze kiteshield to make a Bronze armour set (lg). Players can also mix them with Ugthanki dung in the Kharidian Desert to create Oxidised platelegs.

Players who like Invention can disassemble them for materials such as cover parts, deflecting parts, and plated parts. The platelegs can also be made at a forge and anvil with 3 bronze bars for 45 Smithing experience. On death, they are always kept outside dangerous areas.
