Description

The Broodoo shield (blue) is a Melee shield in RuneScape 3. It is a members item that is tradeable and noteable. You need 25 Defence to wear it. It is a tier 25 shield with 76 armour, a 2.5% damage reduction against monsters, and a prayer bonus of 2.

This shield has a special passive effect in combat. It has a 10% chance to drain an enemy's Defence stat by 1, then by 5% of the rest. The enemy must be in close range, have more than half of its Life points, and have its skills at base levels. This makes the shield a nice pick for players who want to weaken tough foes.

A new shield starts with 10 charges, shown in its name. Each time the passive effect works, one charge is used. The shield cannot be recharged, but it keeps all of its stats after the charges run out.

The blue Broodoo shield can be made from a blue tribal mask with 35 Crafting, two snakeskins, and eight nails. Green and orange versions exist for Magic and Ranged. It can also be disassembled for parts like Strong components and Protective components.
