Description

The Broodoo shield (orange) is a members-only Ranged shield in RuneScape 3. It fits in the shield slot and needs 25 Defence to wear. The shield is tier 25 with an armour rating of 76, a 2.5% PvM damage reduction, and a Prayer bonus of 2.

This shield stands out because of its passive effect in combat. It has a 10% chance to drain an enemy's Strength stat by 1, then 5% of what is left. For this to work, the enemy must be in close range, have more than half of its Life points, and have its skills at base levels.

The shield holds 10 charges when new, and the number shows in the item's name. Each time the passive effect triggers, one charge is used. The shield cannot be recharged, but it still works as a normal shield with full stats after the charges run out.

The Broodoo shield (orange) is made from an orange tribal mask with 35 Crafting, two snakeskins, and eight nails. It also has blue and green versions for Melee and Magic. The blue one drains Defence and the green one drains Attack.
