Description

The Bruise blue snelm (round) is a members-only helmet in RuneScape 3. It is a moody blue helmet made from a Mort Myre snail shell. Players make it by using a Chisel on a blamish blue shell (round). This takes level 15 Crafting and gives 32.5 Crafting experience.

This snelm shines in the Temple Trekking and Burgh de Rott Ramble minigames. When worn, it protects you from regular and giant snails there. Damage from those snails drops to just 1 per hit. Players also wear it to solve clue scroll emote clues.

The helmet has no combat stat requirements, so any player can wear it. It gives 0 armour, 0 damage, and 0 accuracy, so its value comes from snail protection and clue use. It weighs 2 kg and is tradeable, equipable, and noteable.

The snelm can also drop from a Ravenous Ghoul at a rate of 2 in 128. It can be disassembled as a Clothing item for parts like Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, and rarely Variable components. High alchemy gives 180 coins and low alchemy gives 120 coins. The item was added to the game on 14 October 2004.
