Description

The Blamish blue shell (round) is a members item in RuneScape 3. It comes from round-shelled bruise blamish snails in the Mort Myre Swamp. These snails are combat level 20 and always drop one shell along with a fat snail. The item was added to the game on 14 October 2004.

The main use for this shell is Crafting. With level 15 Crafting, players can use a chisel on the shell to make a bruise blue snelm (round). This gives 32.5 Crafting experience. The snelm is a helmet that helps protect against snail attacks, which makes it handy when exploring the swamp.

The shell weighs 10 kg. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be worn or stacked. It can also be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly gives Simple parts 99% of the time and Variable components 1% of the time. The base junk chance is 98.9%, and research can lower that number.

This shell is a good pick for players who want easy Crafting experience or a simple helmet for swamp trips without hunting snails themselves.
