Description

The cabbage seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Players plant it in an allotment patch to grow cabbages. It needs level 7 Farming to use. Three seeds go into one patch.

Cabbages take 40 minutes to grow. The seed grows through 4 stages, and each stage takes 10 minutes. Planting gives 10 Farming XP. Each cabbage picked gives 11.5 XP. A patch has at least 3 harvest lives. Using compost adds more lives, up to 6 with ultracompost.

Players can protect the crop in a few ways. A nearby flower patch with grown rosemary, white lily, or starbloom keeps the cabbages safe. A farmer will also watch the patch for one sack of onions.

Cabbage seeds are a good pick for players training low level Farming. They are cheap to protect and give steady XP. The seed is members only, tradeable, and stackable, and it weighs nothing. It can also be disassembled for Organic parts most of the time, with a small chance of Living components.
