Description

Cake is a classic food item in RuneScape 3. Each cake heals up to 333 life points per bite. A whole cake takes 3 bites to eat, so one cake can restore up to 999 life points in total. After one bite it becomes a 2/3 cake, and after two bites it becomes a slice of cake.

Cake is not a strong choice for combat or player killing because it heals in small steps. But it works well as cheap food for training skills like Thieving and Agility, where small hits are common.

Players can make cake with level 40 Cooking for 180 experience. It takes an egg, a bucket of milk, and a pot of flour mixed in a cake tin, then cooked on a range. At level 50 Cooking, adding a chocolate bar or chocolate dust turns it into a chocolate cake. Cakes can also be stolen from bakery stalls with just level 5 Thieving.

Cake is tradeable, noteable, and free to play. It can also be disassembled and gives mostly Organic parts. This item first came to the game on 11 June 2001, making it one of the oldest foods in RuneScape.
