Description

Granite (5kg) is a 5,000 gram chunk of granite in RuneScape 3. It is a members-only item that is tradeable and noteable. It weighs 5 kg and does not stack. It is also a quest item for Enakhra's Lament.

Players mine this granite from granite rocks at the Western Desert mining site. Mining it needs level 45 Mining. The desert heat there drains life points unless the player has waterskins, wears an enchanted water tiara, or has finished the Crocodile Tears quest. It can also drop from Exiled kalphite workers or come from a water filtration system.

Granite (5kg) has many uses in Crafting. Using a chisel on it cuts it into smaller blocks, like Granite 2kg or Granite 500g, which work as Summoning ingredients. Cutting granite gives 1 Crafting XP. With level 50 Crafting, a chisel can turn it into stone heads such as the Camel, Cavity, Icthlarin, Lazim, or Zamorak heads. It is also used to craft Myreque-related statues.

The item can be disassembled for Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, or rare Variable components. It can also be sold to Aligra Nite at the Desert Quarry.
