Description

The cooked slimy eel is a food item in RuneScape 3. As the game says, it is not delicious, but it is pretty nutritious. Players can eat it to restore health, which makes it a handy food to keep on hand.

To make one, cook a slimy eel at level 28 Cooking. Each eel cooked gives 95 Cooking experience. The raw fish is caught at level 28 Fishing with a regular fishing rod and fishing bait, and each catch gives 65 Fishing experience. Slimy eels can be fished in Mort Myre Swamp, the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, the Meiyerditch Dungeon, the Dorgesh-Kaan South Dungeon, and the Warforge tunnels.

This fish has an odd name rule. Most fish get a raw prefix before cooking. The slimy eel has no prefix when raw. It only gains the word cooked after it is cooked.

Slimy eel is also an ingredient in eel sushi, a dish enjoyed by the Dorgeshuun cave goblins of Dorgesh-Kaan. Fishing near the Meiyerditch Dungeon is a convenient way to gather food while training on the mutated bloodveld nearby. Each eel weighs 2 kg.
