Description

The crystal deflector is a tier 70 Ranged shield in RuneScape 3. It was released with the first part of Prifddinas. To wield it, you need 70 Defence, 50 Agility, and the Roving Elves quest.

This shield gives 297 armour, a 35 life point bonus, and 7% damage reduction against monsters. It fits in the shield slot and works well for Ranged combat builds that want extra defence.

The crystal deflector degrades over 50,000 charges of combat. It uses two charges per hit, but only one charge per hit inside Prifddinas. When it fully degrades, it turns back into a crystal armour seed. A partly degraded shield can be recharged for a fraction of the creation cost.

You can make one from a crystal armour seed by paying Eluned, Islwyn, or Rhodri Dail coins, or by using 375 harmonic dust at the crystal singing bowl with 75 Smithing. The shield can also be augmented with an augmentor. When disassembled, it always gives a special component, such as a crystal part, a Seren component, or a Faceted component.
