Description
The crystal armour seed is a rare item in RuneScape 3. It is used to make crystal shields, one of the strongest shield types in the game. One seed can become a crystal deflector, a crystal shield, or a crystal ward.
To turn the seed into a shield, take it to the crystal bowl in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas. Crystal Singing there needs level 75 and 375 harmonic dust, and it gives 375 experience. Players who do not have the level can pay coins to Eluned or Islwyn instead, and they will make the shield with no skill needed.
When crystal armour wears down, it does not break for good. It turns back into a crystal armour seed. The seed can then be recharged by Eluned or Islwyn, or sung again with more harmonic dust. This makes the seed a lasting item that can be used again and again.
In the game, these seeds are rare drops from Iorwerth scouts, Iorwerth guards, Cadarn mages, Cadarn rangers, and Edimmu. The seed is a members-only item. It is tradeable and can be noted, and it weighs almost nothing at 0.014 kg.
