Description

The Death Guard (tier 90) is a top main-hand weapon for Necromancy in RuneScape 3. It is the last upgrade in the Death Guard line. It has tier 90 stats, with 2458 accuracy and 1341 ability damage. Its attack speed is the fastest in the game.

You need level 90 Necromancy to wield it. It is a members-only item. Pair it with a Skull Lantern to dual wield as a necromancer.

This weapon has a special attack called Death Grasp. It costs 25% adrenaline and has a 30 second cooldown. It stuns and binds the target for 4.8 seconds and deals 405% to 495% Necromancy damage. It also adds 40% damage for each Necrosis stack and uses up all stacks. At 12 stacks, the damage can reach 975%.

The Death Guard (tier 90) is made at the Soul Forge with level 85 Smithing. It takes a tier 80 Death Guard, 5 Greater Ensouled Bars, and 50 each of Spirit, Bone, Flesh, and Miasma runes. You must craft it at least once before you can wield one. Buying the tier 80 version first makes the upgrade faster.
