Description
The death talisman is a members only item in RuneScape 3. It lets players enter the death altar, where death runes are made. The death altar is inside the Temple of Light, a place found during the quest Mourning's End Part II.
At the altar, players can craft death runes from rune or pure essence. This takes level 65 Runecrafting. Death runes are useful for magic, so this talisman helps players who want to train Runecrafting or make runes to use or sell.
The talisman can be combined with a tiara at the altar to make a death tiara. This gives 50 Runecrafting experience. The tiara works the same way but is worn on the head, so it saves inventory space. The talisman can also be used with a runecrafting staff to make a death talisman staff, which is worn in the weapon slot. Both items let players left click the altar's mysterious ruins to enter faster.
The talisman can also be used on the wicked hood, which lets the hood open the death altar. Players need to show this talisman, along with others, to Wizard Elriss to get the omni-talisman. The item is tradeable.
