Description

The Demon Slayer ability codex is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. When you use it, you unlock the Demon Slayer ability. This ability boosts your damage against demons by 15% for 10 seconds. The boost also works on bleed abilities like Dismember and Combust. That makes it a strong pick for players who fight demon bosses and slayer tasks.

The codex is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy instead of making it yourself. Crafting one takes real work. You need to buy the blueprint from the Elite Dungeon Reward Shop for 100,000 Dungeoneering tokens. Then you need level 88 Invention and level 80 Crafting, plus 100 Black stone hearts, 2 Onyx, and 60 Silent components.

This codex replaced the old demon slayer sigil in August 2019. The new ability is better in one big way. It has no upkeep cost, so once you learn it, it is yours for good. The codex weighs almost nothing and is always kept on death outside dangerous areas.
