The desert goat horn is an item in RuneScape 3 used for Herblore and Summoning. It drops from goats and billy goats in the Kharidian Desert, and from Scabarite monsters like scarab mages and locust riders. The Corporeal Beast can also drop it in large noted stacks.

Grind a horn with a pestle and mortar to make goat horn dust. This gives 1 Herblore experience per horn. Goat horn dust is a key ingredient for combat potions. It is also a tertiary ingredient for the Smoke Devil summoning pouch.

Players who want to farm these horns often kill goats just west of the Nardah bank, where banking is fast. The desert heat can hurt you there, so full desert clothing and two or more waterskins help keep you safe. With a high combat level and a good weapon, you can gather horns quickly. Completing the easy Desert Diary gives noted horns from desert goats, which saves trips to the bank.
