Description

The Dragon Slayer ability codex is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. When you consume it, you unlock the Dragon Slayer ability for good. This ability boosts all your damage against dragons by 15% for 10.2 seconds. It only needs level 1 Constitution to use, so any account can benefit from it right away.

The ability is easy to fit into your rotation. It does not use or build adrenaline, and it does not trigger the global cooldown. It has a 60 second cooldown and no upkeep cost. The damage boost also works on bleed abilities like Dismember and Combust, which makes it strong for bossing.

Making this codex yourself is a big grind. You need to buy the blueprint for 100,000 Dungeoneering tokens, then discover it with level 88 Invention and level 80 Crafting. The materials include 100 Black stone hearts, 2 Onyx, and 60 Resilient components. Buying the codex skips all of that work.

This item replaced the old dragon slayer sigil, but it is better. There is no degrade and no upkeep. If you fight dragons like the King Black Dragon or other dragon bosses, this codex is a clear upgrade.
