Description

The Elder plank is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a plank of ancient wood made from elder logs. Players use it to train the Construction skill and to upgrade buildings in Fort Forinthry.

Elder planks are used to make Refined Elder planks. Four planks make one refined plank at Construction level 90. They can also be used to make Vine frames. Five planks make one frame at Construction level 60.

There are many ways to make elder planks in the game. Players can use a Sawmill workbench at Construction level 90. They can pay a plank maker with an elder log and coins. They can cast the Plank Make spell at Magic level 86. Players with high Invention levels can use a Plank maker machine or a High capacity plank maker with divine charge.

Elder planks are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to move and store. They can be disassembled for Simple parts or Crafted parts with no junk chance. They are not stackable or equipable, and each plank weighs 0.8 kg. Buying elder planks saves time for players who want to level Construction fast.
