Description

The unstrung emerald amulet is a Crafting item in RuneScape 3. It is the unfinished version of the emerald amulet. Players make it by using a gold bar on a furnace with a cut emerald and an amulet mould. This takes level 31 Crafting and gives 70 experience.

The amulet cannot be worn or used until it is strung. Stringing it with a ball of wool makes an un-enchanted emerald amulet and gives 4 Crafting experience. That amulet can then be enchanted into an amulet of defence. Stringing it with a magic string makes a pre-nature amulet instead, which can become an amulet of nature. The String Jewellery spell also works. It needs level 80 Magic and gives 83 Magic and 4 Crafting experience.

This item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs only 0.004 kg. It can also be disassembled for 9.3 experience, giving mostly delicate parts, connector parts, and smooth parts, with a small chance of precious and enhancing components. Mummies in the Chaos Tunnels and the ruins of Ullek drop it often, which makes it a common pick for Crafting and Invention training.
