Description

Emerald bolts (e) are mithril crossbow bolts tipped with emerald and enchanted with magic. They are tier 60 ammo for crossbows in RuneScape 3. You need level 60 Ranged to use them.

These bolts have a special passive effect called Magical Poison. It has a 55% chance to trigger when you hit a target. When it triggers, the target takes an extra 2 to 4% weapon damage as a poison hit. This extra hit does not replace your weapon poison. The effect grows stronger with poison boosts like Cinderbane gloves, kwuarm incense sticks, and evolving toxin stacks.

The trigger chance can go higher. With the Ranged cape perk it is 66%. With the Elite Seers' Village achievements it is 57%. With both it is 68.4%. The effect can trigger on auto attacks and abilities, and it uses up bolts only 12.5% of the time.

Emerald bolts (e) are stackable and easy to carry. They are a strong pick for players who fight with poison builds or want extra damage from every shot.
