Enriched fungal algae is a crafting material in RuneScape 3. It is a dense fungus that looks a lot like algae. It comes from the Croesus Front, where players with level 92 Fishing gather it from colonised Lumbridge and Varrock guards in the south section while they glow.
This material has some useful jobs in the game. Players can mix it with a Fishing potion (3) to make a Super fishing potion (3). This needs level 75 Herblore. It can also make Raw fungal algae soup, which uses 26 Enriched fungal algae and 1 Bowl of water. It can go into a Trough to make Mushy mush or Variety mush.
Enriched fungal algae can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 0.1 Disassembly XP and has a base junk chance of 98.9%. It breaks down into Simple parts most of the time, with a small chance of Variable components.
The item is very light at 0.05 kg, so it is easy to carry. It was released on 27 September 2021. Players who train Herblore or cook fungal recipes will find this material handy to have.
