The Bowl of water is a simple cooking item in RuneScape 3. It is made by using a normal bowl on a water source, which needs only level 1 Cooking. Players with level 68 Magic can also make 28 at a time with the Humidify spell after finishing the Dream Mentor quest.
This item has many uses in cooking. Heat it on a stove or fire to make a bowl of hot water. Add nettles to make nettle-water, which turns into nettle tea when heated. Add a raw potato to start an incomplete stew. It can also be mixed with a pot of flour to make any kind of dough, such as bread dough, pastry dough, pitta dough, or a pizza base.
Outside of cooking, a bowl of water can soften clay into soft clay, fill a watering can, or refill a waterskin. It cannot be used to fight desert heat, since the water evaporates.
The Bowl of water weighs 0.907 kg and is both tradeable and noteable. It is a handy item for players training Cooking or working on skilling tasks that need water.
