Description

The eternal magic shortbow (unstrung) is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is the unstrung form of the eternal magic shortbow, a tier 99 shortbow that needs level 99 Ranged to use.

Players make this item by cutting eternal magic logs with a knife at level 100 Fletching. Making one gives 90 Fletching experience. Add a bowstring or a fungal bowstring to turn it into the finished eternal magic shortbow. Stringing it gives 50 more Fletching experience.

Once strung, the bow can be upgraded five times at a Fletching workbench using more eternal magic logs. The final Mk. 5 version matches a tier 90 weapon in accuracy and auto-attack damage. The full upgrade path from base to Mk. 5 uses 63 eternal magic logs in total.

This item is tradeable and noteable. It can also be disassembled for parts like Stave parts, Flexible parts, Tensile parts, Precise components, and Dextrous components. It is always kept on death outside dangerous areas. It is a smart pick for players training Fletching or working toward a strong non-degradable ranged weapon.
