Description

Flesh runes are one of the four necrotic runes in RuneScape 3. They are a mid-level rune used to cast Necromancy incantations. If you train Necromancy, you will need a good stack of these runes.

Flesh runes power many useful incantations. These include Threads of Fate at level 44, Greater Bone Shield at level 73, Life Transfer at level 76, Invoke Lord of Bones at level 78, Invoke Death at level 80, Darkness at level 86, and Split Soul at level 92.

Flesh runes also work as crafting materials at the Soul forge. You can use them to upgrade Deathwarden and Deathdealer armour and weapons to higher tiers. This covers robe tops, robe bottoms, hoods, gloves, boots, Death guards, and Skull lanterns.

Flesh runes are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing, so they take up just one inventory slot. They are members-only items. Crafting them yourself needs level 40 Runecrafting, the Rune Mythos quest, and one impure essence per rune. Buying a stack saves you that work and keeps you casting and upgrading without a grind.
