Description

The Fremennik round shield is a members-only shield in RuneScape 3. It is a melee shield that goes in the shield slot at tier 25. You need level 25 Defence to wield it. It is a wooden shield with a rope rim and it weighs 3.628 kg.

This shield is great for fighting trolls. It gives extra defence against the ranged stone attacks from female ice trolls, cutting their damage down to 100 to 200. It also lowers damage from thrower trolls on Trollheim and Death Plateau, and from Arrg during the Troll Romance quest.

The shield has 76 armour and gives 2.5% damage reduction against monsters. It has no prayer bonus.

Players can also make this shield with level 54 Woodcutting after starting The Fremennik Isles quest. It takes two arctic pine logs, one bronze nail, a rope, and a hammer, and it gives 34 Crafting experience. The shield is also part of the Baroo Quality achievement, where you must beat a Dagannoth King solo while wearing full yak-hide armour and this shield.
