The RS3 Grasping rune pouch (black) is an upgraded version of the large rune pouch. It needs level 85 Magic to use. The pouch holds 4 types of runes, with up to 2,147,483,647 of each type. It cannot hold necrotic runes.
The best part is the rune saving effect. When the pouch is equipped, you have a 25% chance to not use up all the runes on a combat spell. This works even for runes that are not stored in the pouch. If you own more than one pouch, wearing any grasping rune pouch will also save runes in the other pouches in your inventory. The pouch gives a +4 prayer bonus too.
This version is dyed black with black mushroom ink. A cleaning cloth can remove the dye and return the pouch to its original color. Grasping rune pouches can also be dyed red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, or pink.
The item is members only, tradeable, and notable. It stacks in the bank and weighs 1 kg. It is a great pick for any mage who wants to save runes and cut spell costs in long fights.
