Description
The Cleaning cloth is a members item in RuneScape 3 that removes paint and poison from certain gear. It is a piece of silk that can wipe the colour off an Abyssal whip, Dark bow, Essence of Finality amulet, Grasping rune pouch, or Pernix's quiver if they have been coloured. It does not work on small and large rune pouches.
The cloth can also clean the poison off spears. This lets players equip and use those spears. Cleaning poison off items was the cloth's original purpose.
Players can make a Cleaning cloth by using Karamjan rum on a piece of silk. It also drops from wandering warriors. Tamayu sells it in the village of Tai Bwo Wannai on Karamja, south of Brimhaven. Buying from Tamayu requires completion of the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.
The Cleaning cloth is tradeable, noteable, and stackable, and it weighs 1 kg. It is a handy item for any player who wants to undo a colour change on a weapon or make a poisoned spear safe to use.
