Description
The Hammerstone seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Players plant it in a hops patch to grow Hammerstone hops. Each planting needs four seeds and only level 4 Farming, so it is a good pick for new farmers.
The crop takes 40 minutes to grow. It has four stages of 10 minutes each. Planting gives 9 Farming XP and each harvest gives 10 XP. A fully grown plant has at least 3 harvest lives, and better compost adds more. Magic secateurs, the amulet of nature, and the ring of whispers help you keep harvest lives. The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit can also save a life that would be lost.
You can pay a nearby farmer 1 marigold to protect the plant from disease. When you harvest, you always get Hammerstone hops, and there is a 1 in 32 chance to find harmony moss too.
Hammerstone seeds are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled for Organic parts and, rarely, Living components. Grab these seeds to train early Farming levels with a fast, low cost hops crop.
