The Hydrix necklace is a members-only necklace in RuneScape 3. It is made by crafting a gold bar and a hydrix at a furnace. This needs level 90 Crafting and a necklace mould, and it gives 135 experience. It can also be made with a gold bar, an incomplete hydrix, and an onyx for 332.5 experience.
The plain necklace has no combat bonuses. Its real value comes from enchanting. Cast the Lvl-6 Enchant spell at level 87 Magic, or use a Lvl-6 enchant tablet, to turn it into a Reaper necklace. The Reaper necklace gives a stackable reaper buff. Each hit adds a 0.1% hit chance boost in all combat styles. The buff stacks up to 30 times for a total of 3% extra accuracy. It also gives stat bonuses to strength, ranged, magic, necromancy, and prayer.
The Hydrix necklace fits in the neck slot and weighs only 0.01 kg. It is tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled for jewellery materials like precious components and enhancing components. It is a strong pick for players who want better accuracy in long fights against tough bosses.
