Description
The impling jar is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a butterfly jar coated with imp repellent. Players use it to catch implings in the Impetuous Impulses minigame in Puro-Puro and all across Gielinor. It also works for catching bakami and orokami on islands in the Arc. It cannot be used to catch butterflies.
Implings are Hunter creatures that drop useful loot when caught. The jar lets you trap implings from Baby at Hunter level 17 all the way up to Crystal at level 95. Bakami need level 90 and orokami need level 95. In Puro-Puro, you need a net and empty impling jars to catch anything, so keeping a stack of jars ready saves time.
Jars can also be traded to Elnock Inquisitor. He gives three jars for any captured impling. Trading him three essence, two eclectic, and one nature impling jar earns a jar generator.
The jar has little holes in the top so the impling inside can breathe. It weighs only 0.02 kg, and it is both tradeable and noteable. It is a simple item that every Hunter needs for impling catching in RS3.
