Description
The jade necklace is a members-only piece of jewellery in RuneScape 3. It is made from a silver bar and a cut jade using a necklace mould at a furnace. Making one needs level 25 Crafting and gives 15 experience. The in-game description says "I wonder if this is valuable."
The necklace goes in the neck slot. It has no combat requirements and no stat bonuses on its own. Its real value comes from enchanting. With the Lvl-2 Enchant spell, which needs level 27 Magic, it turns into a traveller's necklace. The traveller's necklace can teleport you to the Wizards' Tower, the outpost north of Ardougne, or south of the Eagle's Eyrie. The spell uses 1 cosmic rune and 3 air runes and gives 37 Magic experience. An Lvl-2 enchant tablet works too.
The jade necklace can also be disassembled under the Jewellery category for 7.5 experience. It gives 5 materials, which may include delicate parts, connector parts, smooth parts, precious components, and enhancing components. It is a light item at only 0.01 kg, so it is easy to carry. It is a handy pick for Crafting training or Magic training.
