Description

Jogre bones are a Prayer training item in RuneScape 3. They are dropped by Jogres, both the level 57 kind and the level 86 kind in the God Wars Dungeon. These bones are members only, and they are tradeable and noteable. Each bone weighs 0.8 kg.

Burying a Jogre bone gives 15 Prayer experience, the same as big bones. You can earn more by offering them in other ways. A regular altar gives 22.5 XP, the Fort Forinthry altar gives 45 XP, and a gilded altar or chaos altar gives 52.5 XP. Powder of burials and the auto-sanctifier also give 52.5 XP. The Ectofuntus gives the most at 60 XP per bone.

Jogre bones also work for Firemaking. With level 30 Firemaking and a tinderbox, you can burn them for 90 Firemaking experience. This makes burnt jogre bones, which are needed for the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest. Burnt bones can still be buried for 16 Prayer experience, so burning first gives extra value. You can even light these bones underwater. Cremation is another option and gives 37.5 Prayer XP plus 30 Firemaking XP.
