Description

Jute fibre is a farming item in RuneScape 3. Players grow it by planting jute seeds in a hops patch at level 13 Farming. Each fibre harvested gives 14.5 Farming experience. It is a members-only item and it is tradeable and noteable.

Jute fibre has many uses. Four fibres can be woven into an empty sack on a loom. This needs level 21 Crafting and gives 38 Crafting experience. Ten fibres can be paid to a farmer to watch a sweetcorn allotment. Three fibres repair the windscreen of the 12th beacon near the God Wars Dungeon. Jute is also needed for the easy Seers' Village Tasks.

Jute fibre can be disassembled for Invention materials. It gives 0.3 disassembly experience and most often gives Organic parts. It can also give Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components.

Buying jute fibre saves time. Growing it takes 50 minutes per crop, and plants can get diseased if no one watches them. With a stock of jute fibre ready to use, players can train Crafting, pay farmers, or finish tasks right away.
