Description

Karil's pistol crossbow is a one-handed ranged weapon in RuneScape 3. It needs level 70 Ranged to wield. It sits in the main hand slot and fires only bolt racks. This is the main hand version of Karil's original two-handed crossbow, and players get it from the Barrows minigame.

The crossbow is a tier 70 weapon with 1486 accuracy and 672 ability damage. It uses the Bolts style and has a range of 7. It works well with an off-hand weapon for dual wield ranged combat. Unlike other pieces of Karil the Tainted's gear, the pistol crossbow does not count toward the Karil's set bonus.

Like all Barrows gear, this weapon degrades as it is used. It has 100,000 charges of combat before it breaks and needs repair. Its power stays the same as it degrades. Players can repair it by talking to Bob in Lumbridge, Tindel Marchant, Dunstan, or the Squire, or by using an armour stand in a player-owned house for less cost. A full repair costs 200,000 coins, or as low as 100,000 coins with level 99 Smithing. The crossbow becomes untradeable once wielded, after a confirmation prompt.
