Description

Bolt racks are ammunition for Karil's crossbow, Karil's pistol crossbow, Karil's off-hand pistol crossbow, and the tainted repriser. No other weapons can fire them. Each shot uses one bolt rack.

You need level 70 Ranged to use bolt racks. They are tier 70 ammunition and count as bolts. They deal ability damage from 672.0 to 1008, which makes them a strong pick for ranged combat at this level.

Used bolt racks come back to you on their own, even without Ava's devices. Each shot has a 15% chance to destroy the rack, just like other ammunition. Bolt racks weigh nothing, so they will not slow you down. They also stack, which means a large supply takes up only one spot in your inventory.

Bolt racks are tradeable and members-only. In the game, they drop from the Barrows chest and the Barrows Brothers, or they can be bought from Ak-Haranu at the Port Phasmatys docks. Players who use Invention can also disassemble them. Each attempt uses 50 racks and can give base parts, head parts, spiked parts, and stunning components.
